I’ll just be very brief about myself. I have a degree in physics and astronomy, and while I don’t work in science, I am always reading about it. I’m more interested in becoming a writer in the future, but space exploration and astronomy are what influence my writing.
In general, I am interested in any kind of science, but particularly astronomy, palaeontology, earth sciences (including vulcanology, seismology and geology), and biology. I enjoy reading, both fiction and nonfiction. While my primary language is English, I can speak some French and Japanese, though not well at all.
Anyway, enjoy the blog!

Thanks for visiting. I checked out your blog. Astrophotography! I haven’t really done anything with astrophotography, except when I was in university. I live in a metropolitan area with a lot of light pollution, and don’t have a telescope, so that makes it difficult. But someday, I’d like to try.

Thanks so much! Its not that hard, and surprisingly its not that expensive a hobby to get in to.

I wouldn’t mind getting into it eventually. When I was in university, the astrophotography we did was with low tech cameras. We had to manually open the camera shutter for a longer exposure time, then wait as the film developed. Yeah, polaroid. Did all this on the roof of the physics and astronomy building at my university.

Thank you for the comment, ALKA. I agree, Earth is a very beautiful world, and as we are the future of it, we need to take care of it well.
